REQUIREMENTS TO JOIN THIS WEBSITE

You need to be available to work in person or remotely in the West Country.

 

You will need to be individually registered or regulated by the NRCPD and have three references from interpreters already on this site who are able to vouch for your work.
 

 

Send these along with a photo and brief biography to David Wolfenden at david@westcountryinterpreters.com.  

David will confirm the advertising fee and quarterly charges that apply. Once you have paid your fee your details will be uploaded to the site and your email address will begin to receive messages from those enquiring about interpreting.

DISCLOSURE AND BARRING SERVICE CERTIFICATES

All of us have a DBS certificate available to be viewed by customers on request.

REGISTRATION STATUS

Everyone who advertises on this site has their registration status verified each quarter.

COMPLAINTS

We hope that you'll have no reason to complain about the service you receive from any of us that advertise on West Country Interpreters, but if you aren't happy, please do discuss your issues with the interpreter directly in the first instance.  It may be a simple misunderstanding of our role or function.

If that doesn't resolve the issue, please go to the NRCPD website and Raise a Concern about the practitioner.  The NRCPD will take it from there.
