Amy qualified as a British Sign Language (BSL) Interpreter in 2017 after completing the Post Graduate Diploma in BSL / English Interpreting from The University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN). Previously, Amy completed a BA (Hons) In BSL/English Interpreting from The University of Wolverhampton in 2014.

Amy is a professional, skilled, warm individual who is a full member of the Association of Sign Language Interpreters (ASLI), assists in arranging training for the ASLI regional interpreters, is registered with NRCPD and a member of National Union of British Sign Language Interpreters (NUBSLI).

Amy has experience working in medical, community and education settings and is willing to travel in and around the South West. Amy is committed to ensuring that her knowledge is up to date and undertakes a variety of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) courses each year to broaden her skill set. 

Amy moved to the area in 2019 and works part time for an agency. The remainder of the time Amy is available for bookings and will work evenings and weekends.
